How long is the rental period?
It depends on which rental package you purchase. Package 1 includes 72 hours, Package 2 includes 12 hours, and Package 3 includes 4 hours. Events must over by 10pm each day of the rental period.
Is there a bathroom on the premises?
Yes! There are bathrooms behind Sunnyside Chapel in our bathroom cottage. All packages include use of the bathrooms.
Are there chairs provided?
This depends on the package. We have a total of 80 white wooden folding chairs available upon request. Chairs are included in Package 1 (please refer to our wedding guide). If they are not part of your package or requested, the building is rented completely empty.
Is food allowed?
Due to the historic nature of Sunnyside Chapel, no food or drink are permitted inside the building. We do allow food and drink on the chapel grounds outside.
Do we need to clean it?
Yes. As part of your rental agreement, you are required to leave the facilities, both chapel and bathroom, clean and left in the same condition you found it in. Trash receptacles are provided.
What is the total capacity?
The total capacity of Sunnyside Chapel is 100 people.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, the security deposit depends on the package you purchase. It’s completely refundable as long as you return the venue as you found it. This is separate from the rental costs and will be returned within 30 days of the event after a facility inspection.
